Evolution: Week 1: Life?

This first week of our photography independent study I chose to focus on the differences of life. The first picture I took is a glass sculpture of a fish inside a fish. I thought of this sculpture as a baby fish inside of a mama fish and that the baby fish was growing inside the mama fish showing a facet of life. The second picture I chose a picture of two dead leaves showing a different facet of life, death. The vitamins also represent the past life. My last picture I thought was a unique and important addition to my 3-way collection was a fake plant showing the absence of life from something which at a distance looks like a plant full of life.
