These are pictures of Horse Tail falls in The Columbia River Gorge. What I really like about them is the dark lighting which almost adds a silhouette type affect to the photo, as well as the mist from the water fall which gives it a dreamy feel. These pictures represent evolution in two ways. The first of which is the way this water fall actually came to be, and that is through ancient lava flows that have carved the path for the rivers and streams in The Columbia Gorge. The other aspect of evolution to these pictures, or rather lack there of evolution, is the fact that this water fall and nature area have remained untouched and kept in their natural state throughout industrial development.
